| Description | (1742), facsimile edition 1982, consisting of 11 pages, instruction page and 13 copper plate engravings by H Roberts (uncoloured) measuring approximately 30 x 44cm including title-page with dedication to the members of the Aurelian Society and surrounded by a decorative floral border and caterpillars amongst foliage, each plate depicts a different artistic arrangement of numerous butterflies and moths, at the foot there is a key to all the figures although most are easily recognisable, hard covers bound in cloth, with an essay by R S Wilkinson |
